What is Hydroseeding?
Hydroseeding (also known as Hydromulching) is a quick, proven and affordable way to establish a thick, luxurious new lawn. In Massachusetts, depending on weather conditions and watering, germination begins in 5-10 days and you'll be mowing your new grass in about four weeks.
Hydroseeding is a process whereby seed, fertilizer, wood fiber mulch and/or other agriculture approved additives (one is a tackifier or bonding agent) are mixed together to form a slurry that is applied by using a state-of-the-art hydroseeding machine to form a uniform application over the soil.
Hydroseeding has also been proven as one of the most effective means of erosion control. We also mix and spray native wildflower seed mixtures.
